The Vision of the New Mexico Select Basketball Club is to develop the power of amateur competitive basketball by promoting young athletes so they may achieve their academic, athletic, social, behavioral, and college goals.



The New Mexico Select Basketball Club will promote young athletes by developing the qualities of leadership, sportsmanship, competitive zeal. The Club will demand character excellence and the drive for academic success in all of the young athletes who participate.

The New Mexico Select Basketball Club was formed by a group of parents, former high school basketball coaches, and former college basketball coaches to offer New Mexico’s most talented high school basketball players an opportunity to compete against the best basketball players in the United States.

New Mexico Select competes throughout the United States in tournaments designed to showcase the basketball skills of the nation’s finest players to college coaches. During the 2008-2009 season, New Mexico Select will compete in Las Vegas, Nevada; Little Rock, Arkansas; Houston, Texas; Orlando, Florida; Denver, Colorado; and Albuquerque, New Mexico.
